Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: Combine water, unsalted butter, and salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat immediately and stir in all-purpose flour until a smooth dough forms. Let cool slightly, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well until you achieve a thick, pipeable consistency.
  2. Heat the Oil: Pour vegetable oil into a deep frying pan or pot to a depth of 2-3 inches. Heat the oil to 350°F (175°C) to ensure perfect frying temperature for golden, crispy churro bites.
  3. Pipe and Fry the Bites: Use a piping bag fitted with a star-shaped nozzle to pipe small bite-sized loops or drops of dough directly into the hot oil. Fry in batches for 2-3 minutes, turning as needed, until golden brown and crispy all over.
